The Jump Method
The Jump Method is designed specifically for creators. It doesn’t matter what you are creating as long as you create. You could be building the outline for a book, working through generational trauma, creating concepts for a new startup venture, or just journaling with no rhyme or reason. Whatever your objective, the Jump Method is for you.
YOUR JUMP JOURNAL…can be used starting at the back, the front, or in the middle. You can color, doodle or write in it. It’s really up to you how you make tangible the thoughts that live rent-free in your head.
The linear way of journaling always made me feel like I was failing at my journaling effort because I didn’t journal every day…one page at a time. But now I feel free because how and when I journal has no construct.
I hope it does the same thing for you.
Happy Journaling!

Observation
Building skill through observation of art takes practice. It requires attention and intention but the benefits are worth the effort. Art observation has been shown to enhance perception, boost creativity, improve memory and foster emotional wellbeing.
“My hope is that by learning to look at art in a structured way inspires and refreshes critical inquiry and that same model will be applied to when confronting problems in need of solutions.”

Writing
Writing can be a powerful tool for concept generation and problem solving. When you write, you are forced to organize your thoughts and ideas into coherent sentences and paragraphs. This can help you clarify your thinking and identify any gaps or inconsistencies in your ideas. Additionally, writing can help you explore new ideas and perspectives that you may not have considered before.
Artistic Expression (Drawing, Coloring)
One of the most significant benefits of doodling and coloring is increased focus and concentration. When we engage in these activities, we are required to pay attention to what we are doing, which can help us tune out distractions and increase our ability to concentrate.
Conceptulization
Concept development requires many different brain functions. There are many ways to unlock your problem-solving capabilities; why should you stop with writing? The Jump Journal frees you to use all your creative capabilities.
Creativity is something you practice, not just a talent you’re born with.
